Weedons Domain Pavillion
We officially the opened the new Weedons Community Centre on April 5, 2019, which is the new home for the Weedons Cricket Club. It’s been 140 years since our establishment in 1879 and we have grown from just one team to an astounding 39 Junior, Youth & Senior teams. Exciting times are ahead for the Weedons Cricket Club and we look forward to many future years of use, especially holding all our cups and trophies!
The Pavillion is available for community events.
Weedons Oval Development
In 2016 development began on the Weedons Domain Cricket Oval, including an extension of the boundaries to 60+ metres minimum, making it the first cricket oval in the Canterbury Country South region to accommodate Hawke Cup matches.
Weedons 1 has undergone an extension, full irrigation and artificial and grass nets.
Weedons 2 was reseeded for the start of 2016-2017 season.
Weedons 3 is currently being planned for the 2019 season.
